“It’s not sinusitis, Mrs Crosby.”
“But I’ve got horrible, thick, green catarrh.”
“That’s because you’ve got a cold.”
“My sinuses are really painful.”
“They’re uncomfortable.”
“I get excrutiating pain when I put my head down.”
“That’s not considered a particularly reliable, diagnostic feature of sinus infection.”
“I can smell burnt rubber.”
“You’ve just looked that up. You’ve been to the library, haven’t you?” My Dad looked angry.
“I need some antibiotics.”
“You have just had half a course for your cold. You don’t need any more.”

It’s not sinusitis, Mrs Crosby.
